Our second friendly of the season saw us beat a team that finished second in Division 4 last season. Pete Lewis continued his good preseason with another goal, and Carlo scored a late deserved winner.

Burns Lettings FC 1 - 5 Ferndown Town (9/8/07)

The first friendly of the season ended up with Burns Lettings FC being heavily beaten by Ferndown Town (Saturday Division 2). The game started well with Peter Lewis scoring early. Some lapses in defence saw some sloppy goals conceded towards the end of the match. A very competetive first 60 minutes were encouraging against a good team. A few positives, with some new players being involved and players playing out of position.
